We are asking for some volunteers to help us during the
Summer Intensive taking place between July 14 and August 23.
This year we will have several students attending our
Intensive from outside the Portland area, and for the first time, we will be
housing these students in dormitories at PSU.
Part of the volunteer effort this summer will include coordinating
different aspects of activities related to the out of town students. As in past summers, we are asking for any and
all sewers out there who might want to help our students with their costume
department sewing projects.
Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated!
We will have sign-up sheets during the parent observation
classes this week or please feel free to email us your availability to schoolofOBT@obt.org.
Below areas where we need assistance:
Transportation assistance - picking up/returning boarding
students to PDX airport (July 13, 26, 27, August 9,10, 23)
PSU Broadway dorm assistance - helping students to check
in/check out and (July 13, 26, 27, August 9, 10, 23)
Chaperone/drivers for weekend excursions with SI boarding
students (July 20, 27, August 3, 10, 17)
Costume shop help (there will be morning and afternoon sessions from July 14 – 25)
In addition, we need to borrow a few sewing machines for the 2 week sewing project between July 14 -25. If you have a sewing machine you can spare for 2 weeks our young sewers would be much obliged!
