OBT School's Inclement Weather Policy
The Portland campus follows Portland Public School District’s decisions regarding inclement weather closures or delays, and the West Linn campus follows the West Linn-Wilsonville School District’s decisions.
If either school district closes for the entire day then the corresponding OBT School campus will not hold either morning or evening classes.
If either school district closes early and/or cancels evening activities, then the corresponding OBT School campus will not hold evening classes, including Pre-Ballet, Preparatory Division and Adult Workshops.
If either school district has a late start then the corresponding OBT School campus will not hold morning classes, including the Preprofessional Division.
In the event that either school district does not close, open late or release early, then the corresponding OBT School campus will proceed with classes, unless otherwise stated, and we ask that families use caution when deciding whether or not to send their child to class. No student will be penalized if they do not attend class due to inclement weather. Please notify the school by phone or e-mail if the student will not attend classes that day.
