Our friends at The Washington Ballet in Washington, DC made these helpful videos on “How to Make the Perfect Ballet Bun”. Making a ballet bun takes the right supplies and a bit of practice. Do not be discouraged if it does not work the first few times. You will want to use a lot of bobby pins and a hairnet.
A reminder that snoods, decorative bun covers, ribbons, and ornaments are not allowed at SOBT.
