Dear SOBT Families,
It is a bittersweet moment for the SOBT family this week as we bid Gavin Larsen farewell as she leaves us for a 3 month residency at the Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, New Mexico. Besides being the very gifted teacher that she is, Gavin is also a brilliant writer, and this residency in Taos will allow her uninterrupted time to further explore her voice as a writer. Being chosen for this residency is a great honor in and of itself and a testament to Gavin’s artistry. On behalf of myself and all of SOBT I want to wish Gavin every success as she begins this exciting chapter of her life.
