OBT School - Closed 2/22/18 - West Linn

For February 22, 2018, all classes at the West Linn location, including the Adult Workshop, have been canceled due to inclement weather.

Make up classes for the Adult Workshop will be scheduled at a later date.

OBT School - Inclement Weather Policy

OBT School's Inclement Weather Policy

The Portland school follows Portland Public School District’s decisions regarding inclement weather closures or delays, and the West Linn location follows the West Linn-Wilsonville School District’s decisions.

If either school district closes for the entire day then OBT School will not hold either morning or evening classes.
 
If either school district closes early and/or cancels evening activities, OBT School will not hold evening classes, including Pre-Ballet, Preparatory Division and Adult Workshops.

If either school district has a late start OBT School will not hold morning classes.

In the event that either school district does not close, open late or release early, then OBT School will proceed with classes, unless otherwise stated, and we ask that families use caution when deciding whether or not to send their child to class. No student will be penalized if they do not attend class due to inclement weather.

OBT School Family Meeting - 2.17.18 @ 2:30 PM

Dear OBT School Families,

OBT's Artistic Director, Kevin Irving, and Executive Director, Michael Greer, invite you to a family meeting at 2:30 PM next Saturday, February 17, at OBT’s Portland studios. Families from both school locations are welcome to attend.

This meeting will cover generally the upcoming events for the school and the transition plan for the School Director position.

We hope to see next Saturday.

ALICE (in wonderland) Posters

Dear OBT School Families,

Some of you may have seen the four wonderful and colorful posters that our Marketing department created for OBT's upcoming production of ALICE (in wonderland).

The organization would be happy to supply you with a few of these striking posters to hang up at your favorite coffee shop, place of employment or local library.

If you are able to help please stop by the Box Office and they can provide with a few. As our supply is limited we ask that the posters be used only for public posting.
